If the performance tolerances you set are exceeded or a service fails XMF Alerter immediately notifies you via cell phone text message and/or email. If the alert is self-resolved by the GIS system XMF Alerter notifies you in the same way.

Custom Tolerances for Managing Performance – XMF Alerter puts you in control of your GIS performance. Custom tolerances can be set for intervals for testing, response times from the server(s), number of times that the tolerance can be exceeded before initiating an alert and blackout times (times when the alert should not run).

Event Responsive System Testing –With XMF Alerter you can set a to-the-minute custom interval for testing services, from every 24 hours down to once every minute. If a tolerance is exceeded XMF Alerter automatically changes the test interval to retest every 10 seconds so that if the system self-resolves you know it immediately and if not you know you have to take action.

Self-healing Capabilities – XMF Alerter allows you to remotely initiate processes to restart services and resolve service interruptions. Services can be restarted based on performance settings you define.

Dashboard Display – XMF Alerter supplies a convenient web-based dashboard display so that IT/GIS managers can immediately understand current performance status of the entire enterprise.

Event History - XMF Alerter provides a graphical event history for all services being monitored so that you can see enterprise GIS performance over time and make adjustments in the system to optimize performance.

Scalable Architecture – XMF Alerter can be deployed to monitor one server with a handful of services running to unlimited number of servers and services.
