Free Live Webinar on Benefits & Applications of Hyperspectral Imagery

Join the free live webinar "Benefits and Applications of Hyperspectral Imagery From the Space" Station!

Description
International Space Station (ISS) provides a unique platform for imaging and earth looking data collection. The DESIS imaging spectrometer is located on the ISS and represents a leap forward with regard to sensor performance (e.g. signal to noise ratio), spatial coverage, and narrow spectral bands. DESIS is pointable via the Teledyne MUSES (Multiple User Module for Earth Sensing) module which can host other payloads onboard the ISS. The sensor has collected over 17m sq km of imagery in the last year and provides an amazing opportunity to collect hyperspectral data from parts of the world that have never had hyperspectral observations.
