2012 Brisbane International Geospatial Forum

Join the 2012 Brisbane International Geospatial Forum!

Venue: State Library of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia
Start Date: July 8, 2012
End Date: July 11, 2012

For the first time the organisations that represent the enthusiasts, practitioners and the business of all things Geospatial are coming together to stage the 2012 Brisbane International Geospatial Forum. ANZmapS has long represented the interests of enthusiasts, curators and educators in the mapping world, while the Mapping Sciences Institute, Australia is the peak body for cartographers, and then the IMTA brings them altogether with the business and commercial sector of everything Geospatial.

The 2012 Brisbane International Geospatial Forum will truly connect all sectors of the Geospatial World at the new State Library of Queensland, right in the heart of Brisbane's cultural and entertainment district, incorporating The Queensland Museum, The Gallery of Modern Art, the Cultural Centre and South Bank Parklands.

The 2012 Brisbane International Geospatial Forum will feature technical and commercial paper presentations, alongside papers on historical mapping, a trade show, International Map Awards and display, social networking and more than anything the opportunity interact, teach and learn from mapping and geospatial professionals from Australia, New Zealand and the entire world together, to discuss developments and issues that affect them all.
