The Ukrainian government has approved a strategy for the development of Ukraine's space industry until 2032 with UAH 38.5 billion in funding (UAH 7.96 / USD 1).
The document was drafted by the State Space Agency of Ukraine jointly with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, according to the agency's press service. It is planned to create a powerful system for Earth remote sensing, Sich, a national space communications system, Lybid, as well as a coordinate-time and navigation support system and a system to monitor and analyze outer space. It is also planned to conduct space research, international space experiments on the initiative of domestic scientists, and participate in conducting the studies of the Moon using domestic satellites, the agency said.
