LandXplorer 3D city model software

Autodesk LandXplorer will be launched in Northern Europe during the AGI agiCommunity’09 Conference on 23 – 24 September 2009.

Autodesk LandXplorer 3D city model software provides realistic tools that allow stakeholders to visualize finite physical and operational details of entire city and infrastructure projects before they are built, facilitating informed design decisions throughout the urban design lifecycle.

The AGI conference is themed, realizing the value of place, the 2009 conference will address the issues surrounding GIS and its impact on planning for government, utilities, infrastructure, marketing, insurance, business intelligence and consumer applications and the consequences for the geo community.

It will present a collaborative project between Autodesk and Ordnance Survey which has created a 3D digital model of the City of Liverpool and considers the impact and response to a number of operational and emergency scenarios.
