Conference Overview
GeoWeb conferences focus exclusively on geographic information systems, the Internet, and the economic potential associated with their convergence. GeoWeb 2009 will continue the tradition of focusing on the reciprocal impact of the Web and Geographic Information as well as the ever-increasing need for collaboration in light of global economic and environmental concerns.

This industry-leading program of over 50 technical sessions, panel discussions, 15 in-depth workshops; all of them focused on geographic information systems, the Internet, and the economic potential associated with their convergence. New to GeoWeb 2009 is the emphasis on urban environments and the integration of BIM/CAD/GIS (Cityscapes).

GeoWeb 2009 is taking place July 27-31, 2009 in downtown Vancouver, BC Canada at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue. The program is available on the GeoWeb Conference Site.

Keynote & Invited Speakers

GeoWeb and its organizers are excited to welcome back keynote presenters (and Platinum Sponsors) Michael T. Jones, Google's Chief Technology Advocate, and Alex Miller of ESRI Canada. GeoWeb will also host invited speakers David Boloker, IBM's CTO of Emerging Technology, and Dr. John Stutz of the Tellus Institute.
