GPS and Google Street View solve kidnapping

It is technology at work. GPS and Google Street View were used to solve a kidnapping of a 9-year-old girl.

Natalie, 9, has been missing since January 3 after her grandmother, Rose M. Maltais, 52, allegedly kidnapped her.

Here's the latest blog from Google Public Policy:
An interesting first (at least as far as we're aware): Google's Street View imagery was used by police officers to help successfully locate a kidnapped child in rural Virginia. Nine year old Natalie Maltais, from Athol, Massachusetts, was found safely at a motel on Tuesday.
