ERDAS announces its participation in the Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS), November 10-14, 2008 at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo , Sri Lanka . Brad Skelton , CTO at ERDAS will be a keynote speaker.
Exhibiting in booth #6, ERDAS is featuring the latest releases of ERDAS IMAGINE, LPS and IMAGINE Objective. ERDAS IMAGINE and LPS are the industry’s leading and most complete collection of software tools designed to manipulate, process and understand imagery and streamline numerous photogrammetry processes. IMAGINE Objective is a unique tool for feature extraction, image classification and change mapping, enabling geospatial data layers to be created and maintained using remotely sensed imagery. Combining inferential learning with expert knowledge in a true object-oriented feature extraction environment, IMAGINE Objective emulates human visual processing. IMAGINE Objective also encapsulates vector processing operators to produce GIS-ready data with minimal post processing.
“ACRS is a unique conference, bringing together the geospatial leaders throughout Asia , and other industry leaders worldwide,” said Kaushik Chakraborty , Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, ERDAS. “We are excited to highlight the latest releases of our remote sensing and photogrammetry solutions, as well as IMAGINE Objective, a new module for feature extraction.”
ACRS is a prestigious annual event organized by Asian Association for Remote Sensing (AARS) and host country, and held in rotation within the Asia Pacific region, to promote Remote Sensing in the region.
