ERDAS joins 14 ARSPC

ERDAS announces its participation in the 14 ARSPC: Australian Remote Sensing & Photogrammetry Conference, September 29 - October 3, 2008 at the Darwin Convention Centre in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. On Friday, October 3, ERDAS is hosting a workshop, with registration available on the ARSPC website.

Exhibiting in booths #20-21, ERDAS is showcasing its upcoming product releases, including ERDAS IMAGINE 9.3, LPS 9.3, ERDAS ER Mapper 7.2, IMAGINE Objective 9.3, ERDAS APOLLO 2009 and ERDAS TITAN 2009.

ERDAS IMAGINE and LPS are the industry’s leading and most complete collection of software tools designed to manipulate, process and understand imagery and streamline numerous photogrammetry processes. ERDAS ER Mapper provides advanced image processing and compression capabilities widely used in a variety of industries, including oil, gas and mineral exploration. IMAGINE Objective is a new tool providing object-based multi-scale image classification and feature extraction capabilities for building and maintaining accurate geospatial content.

ERDAS APOLLO 2009 is a new generation Geospatial Business System that eliminates the walls between GIS, photogrammetry and remote sensing, extending geospatial data to business applications throughout an organization. ERDAS APOLLO solves the business problems associated with managing and serving large volumes of geospatial data located and distributed across an organization. ERDAS TITAN 2009 is a data sharing tool for publishing, searching and retrieving geospatial information across organizations and end users.

“The ARSPC is an important conference, showcasing the best of Australasia’s technical and application driven remote sensing and photogrammetry research,” said Kaushik Chakraborty, Vice President, Asia Pacific, ERDAS. “We are excited to highlight the latest innovations in our desktop products, as well as our enterprise and data sharing solutions.”
