Free Software To Open and View Shapefiles + Database

I was looking for free software to open and view my ArcView shapefiles as well as to access the associated database. I found a few free tools. Leave some comments if you know some more.

1. Map Window - The MapWindow GIS project includes a free and open source desktop geographic information system (GIS) with an extensible plugin architecture; a GIS ActiveX control; and C# GIS programmer library called DotSpatial. Visit: Map Window.

2. Quantum GIS - QGIS is a user friendly Open Source Geographic Information System (GIS) licensed under the GNU General Public License.
